DIANA DYER, NCTM has maintained a private piano studio for over 40 years. She is a graduate of Angelo State University, and a member of local, state, and national music associations. Currently, she is active as a church accompanist, singer, adjudicator, and participant in community activities. SUZANNE LICHTENSTEIN is a member of the Suzuki Piano Basics Foundation (SPBF), the Advisory Board for Artistry Alliance, the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA), and the San Angelo Music Teachers Association (SAMTA).  She is a past Board Member, Program Chair, and Festival Committee Member for the Capital Area Chapter of the PMTA in Pennsylvania.  She is a graduate of the University of Virginia in Foreign Affairs, Asian Studies, and Music.  Since 2008, she has pursued higher education with the Suzuki Piano Basics Foundation for piano pedagogy, and through private lessons and research in voice pedagogy.  In addition to teaching in her private studio, she teaches both live and online classes for homeschool academies on the arts, including music, visual art, poetry, and theater.  She also directs her church choir and serves as a cantor.  She is often seen onstage in piano, voice, and choral performances, and enjoys performing in musicals and operettas.  For more information, please see her website, .

DR. YUYOUNG LEE received her M.M. and D.M.A. in vocal performance from the University of Texas at Austin where she was the pupil of Darlene Wiley. She has been a vocal professor at SungShin Women's University and Mokwon University in South Korea. Currently she is active as a singer in the San Angelo Chamber Singers and as a soloist at First Christian Church. She participates in the San Angelo Music Teachers Association and operates a private vocal studio.  

JOAN RICHLING Joan Richling has maintained a private piano studio for over twenty-five years, teaching piano technique and music theory.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Angelo State University in 1996.  She is a member of San Angelo Music Teachers Association, Texas Music Teachers Association and Music Teachers National Association.  In the local association she has served in each of the offices as well as in several positions at the state association.                                                                                                        For more information, or to schedule an interview contact Joan at

JANELLE SCHLAUDT, NCTM   has taught piano, theory and composition for over 50 years. Her educational background includes St. Louis Institute of Music and Washington University in St. Louis Mo. and the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.  She is a nationally certified member of Music Teachers National Association, a Past President and Trustee of Texas Music Teachers Association and an active member of San Angelo Music Teachers Association.  A mother of five children and nine grandchildren, she currently maintains an active studio and is organist/pianist for her church.                                                    For more information you may contact or visit
